According to the History of Wal Basses website, the bass has “twin pickups with a powerful active circuit, individual vol and separate tone controls for each pickup. The volume included a push/pull knob which also activates a so called ‘pick-attack’ feature. This effectively acts as a treble booster – ideal for helping the bass cut through a muddy mix. Each tone control has a push/pull switch which engages an active boost giving an more ‘active’ tone. Bass has seen good use and has gigging marks, one pot knob is missing. Lives in period n.o. Case.
