The Gibson Les Paul Junior, is a simple classic Les Paul Model, like this oldie it was an entry level guitar that allowed beginning guitarists to acquire a Les Paul, which in the early days were anything but cheap. Made in USA, since 1954, this is a 3rd year 1957 model and basic at that. The guitar sports a single “dog ear” p-90 pick up and one tone and volume control. The guitar has been used extensively and has the wear and damage to the finish as you’d expect. It appears that the bridge studs have been re-set, which apparently was a common issue for aging guitars. Tuners, although original and still working are quite hard to turn. Last owner also replaced the vol/tone knobs as they appear to be later speed knobs. Slim profile set Mahogany neck, topped with a 22-fret rose board.
