Here we have a Hofner Violin Bass, made in 1960s, with the distinctive shape. The sunburst finish gives it that classic look. Probably the lightest bass I’ve ever played, and with its acoustic sound even without an amp, it makes itself heard. There is really not a comparison to other Basses as it’s design is more like a classical cell or violin, hence the name. Bass lives in its original coffin case.
