Danelectro Coral, long-horn Guitar 1960s

During the 1950s Danelectro was founded as a cheap alternative to the more established brands and was extensively experimenting with sound combinations of simple guitars to be sold in supermarkets and mail orders.

Danelctro guitars were sold under other brand names like Airline, Coral etc and were inexpensive and players liked their easy availability and playability. In addition to the longhorn a variety of other models came about. This well preserved model arrived via inheriting an old set of guitars.
