This 1968/9 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Natural Wood is a fine solid body guitar with the translucent walnut coloured body, and the factory fitted pick ups in chrome and indeed it is. It is one of the nicest guitars in the collection. Pots date the guitar to 1968/9 as far as I can see without dismantling the bits; the serial gives it 1968/70 depending which dater you use. The pot soldering appears original and it looks like no aftermarket mods have been applied. Therefore we have here a gorgeous Gibson Les Paul Custom, a heavy solid body guitar weighing near 10lbs. This guitar is an old school design of beauty with a cool feel and killer look to it, sound wise it is awesome too as it is kitted out with great pickups. The fret board appears to be rosewood and the guitar plays light and fluid. Guitar is a great player and lives in its original hard-case.
