Gibson Les Paul Junior (1955, Yellow).

The Gibson Les Paul Junior, is a simple but classic Les Paul  Model, like this oldie it was an entry level guitar that allowed beginning guitarists to acquire a Les Paul, which in the early days were anything but cheap. Made in USA, since 1954, this is a 2nd year ’55 production model and basic at that. The guitar sports a single “dog ear” p-90 pick up and one tone and volume control. The guitar has been used extensively and has the wear and damage to the finish as you’d expect. It appears that the bridge studs have been re-set as is the neck, which apparently was a common issue for aging guitars. Tuners, although orinigal and still working are quite hard to turn. Slim profile set Mahogany neck, topped with a 22-fret rose board.
