Musicman Stingray I Guitar (1977, Walnut)

Here we have an uncommon 1977 Music-man StingRay I guitar, finished in translucent walnut. The Stingray model, needs no further introduction and has become an iconic instrument over the past 4 decades. This is a relative  of the Stingray Bass guitars Released first in 1976, with large-size active pickups.  not seen before on a factory produced guitar, powered by a 9-volt battery-powered preamp with 2-band EQ. The two mega sized hum-bucking pickups giving this guitar a punchy yet trebly sound. Excellent guitar, lives in its case.
