Heritage H-110 (Tobacco Sunburst, 2008)

Following the departure of Gibson from the Kalamazoo factory in Michigan, ex employees from the old Gibson factory continued to make guitars in the plant and named the brand “Heritage” . This is one of the top models of the now rare Heritage H-110 series, a ” Double Cutaway Les Paul” type guitar with essentially a les Paul Standard DC body shape, but considerably thinner and lighter. Also the lower horn has a lesser pronounced double Cutaway, unlike the standard Gibson LP DCs. Sound wise, it is an excellent guitar, with some really hot Seymour Duncan hum-buckers factory fitted, making a valve amp thunder or scream or both. Guitar is a lovely understated burst flame top. Lives in its Heritage case.
