Here we have a unique guitar, an Adamas guitar made by Ovation, the brainchild of Chris Kaman, originally a helicopter design engineer, who founded Ovation in the 1960s. The guitar here is an Electro-Acoustics Masterclass, Adamas 1681-2, which is the 4th year of production. The guitar sports a Carbon Graphite Top, Lyra-chord Side and Bowl shaped Back. The fretboard is made of rosewood set onto a Mahogany neck set onto the guitar body. This example is the second Adamas series, the details are added inside the bowl. The electric pick up is mounted round the sound hole and works flawlessly.
