Yamaha SG-1300TS (Black, 1985)

Unusual and unique Yamaha SG shredder guitar, one of only 2 in my collection, the Yamaha SG-1300TS guitar is the example of an unusual top quality build guitar. Killer looks and great sound whichever way you set the tone/volume.

It sports a Mahogany body with a trem system, a flat body with a flush, set neck, ebony fret board, abalone dot shaped fret-board position markers, locking nut and Tremolo unit. Black/Chrome Hardware, Twin hum-buckers, coil tapping option from the single tone pot. The guitar is equally heavy as its SG-2000/1000 counterparts and still has lots and lots of sustain, although no sustain plate fitted under bridge like its brother SG-2000. The guitar is a real beauty in soot black with cream aged binding. The guitar is quite well finished with a great appearance, minor headstock decoration and no standard pick-guard.  Weight of guitar approx. 4.2 Kgs, neck width at nut approx. 4.4 cm.
