Yamaha SF-1000 (Woodstain, 1977)

Here an SF-1000, the top of the range in the Super Flighter series made in Japan by Yamaha from 1977 to 1980, these guitars are sought after.  The guitar is constructed from a mix of Alder and Maple and has has a twin octave, 24-fret set neck with rosewood fretboard.  It has two 2 Yamaha F-I Humbucker pickups with independent volume and tone controls in a 2vol/2tone arrangement. The SF-1000  features a coil-tap option like the SF1000, via push-push separate button just offset from the tone pots Good quality gold plated hardware and tuners, versatile and solid, and accurate. Ebony fret board with mother of pearl markers. The guitar weighs about 3.7 Kgs and lives in its faux leather soft case.
