It has two humbucker pickups with independent volume and tone controls, the SF-1000 features the coil-tap option and has a wide tonal range. The guitar sustains well, even for set neck. The action set low and the guitar is well iover 30 years old, the guitar is very clean and has few marks to show for it, it’s safe to say that this guitar can take quite a beating.
This guitar is a brilliantly kitted out for a mix of blues/classic rock inspired playing, both for rhythm and lead. The low action makes even a good shredder, effortless and accurate and riffs just flow through.
