Yamaha SG-1300T (Red, 1984)

Unusual and unique Yamaha SG shredder guitar, one of a few in my collection, the Yamaha SG-1300T guitar is the example of an unusual top quality build guitar. Killer looks and great sound whichever way you set the tone/volume.

It sports a Mahogany body with maple cap, a flat body with a flush, set neck, ebony fret board, mother of pearl split-wing fret-board position markers, locking nut and Rockin Magic Tremolo unit. Gold plated Hardware, Twin hum-buckers, coil tapping option. The guitar is less heavy than its SG-2000/1000 counterparts but still has lots and lots of sustain, although no brass sustain plate fitted under bridge like its brother SG-2000. The guitar is a real beauty in metallic red with a cream aged binding. The guitar is quite well finished with a great appearance, headstock decoration and no standard pick-guard.  Weight of guitar approx. 4 Kgs, neck width at nut approx. 4.4 cm.
