Here a 1977 Yamaha SG-500 in electric guitar. The SG-500 was the entry level SG in the mid 1970s and the smallest brother of the well known SG-2000. These models were made from Agathis (Asian mahogany) for the body and likewise with a mahogany set neck, rosewood fretboard with split mother of pearl position markers, Chrome Hardware and Tuning pegs in Gotoh style, with a plain stoptail. The sound is comes from 2 Humbucker pickups, with black surrounds. Yamaha SG-500s were made in translucent red and black during the period 1976-79 and were good solid guitars in their own right.
