Gibson Les Paul, Double Cut (DC) Models

The Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cut has been in production for a good few years. In 1998 Gibson started with the issue of the Les Paul DC Standard, which was produced in a few great translucent tops, notably Green, Red, Amber and Ocean Blue to name but a few. Theses were characterised by killer looking gloss Flame Burst finish on a nicely figured maple top, capping off a double-cut Mahogany body. Slim profile set Mahogany neck, topped with a bound 22/24-fret Rosewood board. Tone was supplied by a pair of humbuckers with 3-way switch and master volume and tone. Usually Gold hardware, including Standard factory supplied Grover tuners. The playability of these pretty tone monsters is awesome.
