Here a 1979 Yamaha SG-1000 in Tobacco Sunburst finish, in good condition. Serial number 003484. SG-1000 guitars are still kicking about, but the clean 1970s examples are becoming rare. This one is 40+ years old and in good condition with some minor tarnishing of the brass hardware. The SG-1000 is a versatile guitar and this model has been kitted out with coil taps. The guitar has a set mahogany neck and ebony fret-board with mother of pearl, split-wing markers. Like most Yamaha SGs, this is a heavy one, Weight of guitar approx. 4.2 Kgs, neck width at nut approx. 4.4 cm.
