Here an SF-700, a good example of the middle of the range Super Flighter 1st series made in Japan by Yamaha from 1978 to 1979, these guitars are well sought after. The guitar is constructed from a mix of Alder and Maple and has has a twin octave, 24-fret set neck with rosewood fretboard. It has two 2 Yamaha F-II Humbucker pickups with independent volume and tone controls in a 2vol/2tone arrangement. The SF-700 does not feature a coil-tap option like the SF1000, via push-push separate button. Good quality chrome hardware and tuners, versatile and solid, and accurate. Rosewood fret board with mother of pearl markers.
