Of all the Yamaha SGs, this is no doubt one of the most unusual versions of the desirable Yamaha SG-2000 that was developed way back in the 1970’s; the guitar plays like a dream, light and fluid, with very low action. The purple stands out and lights up under certain lighting conditions giving it a pure glow.Like most SG guitars by Yamaha, this guitar is heavy, with a thru body neck, brass sustain plate under the bridge and an ebony fret-board. It is a very pretty guitar. This model is fitted with coil taps as that give it a massive tonal range.
