Been resisting getting a modern Gibbo V for a long time. Well here it is, as rare limited edition, Benchmark 59 Custom Shop, Gibson Flying V. Spotted this Custom V and had to get it, turns out a hell of a great sound over a VOX AC30, clean etc, and also quite crunchy when put in slight overdrive. Despite the quite flat wide neck, the guitar plays superb and I consider it a great V. The strings are placed in a body thru fashion giving it more sustain. Guitar lives in its custom case, built like a boat.
