Fender Stratocaster (2009, Black, David Gilmour model)

Here a cool 2009 Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop David Gilmour model in a glossy black nitro finish with factory fitted Gilmour mods. This guitar is apparently modelled on DG’s 1983 Black Stratocaster model and made from Alder body with a maple glossy neck. One of my better guitars, completely unmolested and all original. Standard yellowed maple fretboard and simple classic Strat look.  Defo one of my best guitars. It’s a light and responsive guitar and easy to play. Very good condition, no obvious marks or dents. Lives in its Fender custom case along with strap, concert in Gdansk CD and various case candy items.

Fender Stratocaster (1979, Monaco Yellow)

Here a rare 1979 Fender Stratocaster electric Guitar in Monaco Yellow. Great looking Strat with killer appearance and a very versatile instrument and a joy to play. Chrome hardware which is slightly tarnished due to the use over the years, giving the guitar an attractive patina. Defo one of the best vintage Stratocasters kicking around. Very responsive guitar and easy to play. Lovely aged coloured finish. Good condition, no major marks or dents. Lives in  Fender hard-case

Gibson Les Paul Custom “Bullseye” Zakk Wylde Signature model (2000s, Black/Cream)

Posted by Elite Vintage Guitars - Gearpage on 23/09/2021
Posted in: Gibson Les Paul Custom. Tagged: Gibson Les Paul Custom. Leave a comment

Here a bit of a marmite guitar, the screamingly loud-coloured Gibson Les Paul Custom “Bullseye” Zakk Wylde issue in Cream/Black. It’s a blend of characteristics with the concentric circles and the stripped neck, non Gibson EMG active Pickups as standard issue. For aficionado’s a superb example of an early ZW Les Paul Custom with Serial 515. The guitar is in excellent condition for its years with a bit of tarnishing of the gold plated hardware giving it patina and bit of rock mojo. With its feel and killer looks, and awesome sound it is a great guitar. The fretboard is dark ebony and the maple neck plays light and fluid. Guitar lives in its hard-case.

Here a cool Gibson Les Paul Les Paul Standard Heritage Series, , Guitar from the renowned Heritage series that ran in the early 1980’s. This is a killer guitar with cool looks due to its understated flame honey finish. Not a screaming loud finish but very nice maple top and a killer sound to boot; for those who know the Gibson Les Paul Historic Heritage range, you will have seen some great examples of Gibson’s luthier craftmanship. However, this one is another cool guitar and unmistakably a close cousin to the 1958 Gibson LP.

Fender Precision Bass (Cream White, 1978)

Fender Precision Bass, 1978 Made in USA, in an attractive aged cream white.  Fender’s bolt on guitars and Basses were very popular since their development  in  the 50s, and throughout the 60s and 70s, these have been the go to instrument of choice for many. With its classic design and recognisable tone these proved reliable and accessible.  A good example is the the bass below. A solid bass made out of alder with a maple board. Great looker with the aged cream finish and the slightly tarnished chrome hardware. Bass lives in its moulded case.

Fender Stratocaster, Exotic Wood range (Shedua/Oukome/Flame maple, 2017 limited edition

Posted by Elite Vintage Guitars - Gearpage on 01/08/2021
Posted in: Fender Stratocaster. Tagged: Fender Stratocaster. Leave a comment

Here we have a Fender Stratocaster designed as part of the “Exotic Wood” series that came out in 2017. A departure from Fender’s usual wood choices, the 2017 Wood choices included reclaimed and recycled wood from a multi wood furniture factory nearby the Fender factory. Pine, Dark mahogany, African woods like Oukome and Shedua were amongst the materials used. Part of that range was a Shedua Top Stratocaster, it was thought the Oukome alters the typical Stratocaster tone. The okoume body is a hard wood and has a snappy, punchy attack while the Shedua top is classy looking.

This Stratocaster is loaded with three V-Mod single-coil pickups containing Alnico magnets for high output as well as clarity when adjusting the volume controls, thanks to the a treble-bleed tone circuit. The neck is made from flame maple and has a C-shape shaped neck profile with the narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings accurately. Pickguard and backplate are made from anodised aluminium. Guitar lives in its moulded hardcase

Here a cool Gibson Firebird made in 2016 in Pelham Blue. This is one of a Firebird with vibrola made during a production run from 2016. Kitted out with two mini humbuckers, it is a cool looking tone machine. The condition is great, as it is only a few years old. Even the tan coloured case is in great nick.

Here a funny one. A first year 2006 model Hello Kitty Squier Stratocaster. The guitar is equipped with a single hum-bucker pickup in the bridge position, a maple C-shape medium jumbo 21-fretted maple neck and an Agathis (Asian Mahogany) body. It has only one control knob, which is to control the volume. This model has been in production for a few years since January 2006. It seems that a bunch of well known musicians have also rocked with the “Hello Kitty” guitar. Guitar lives in its fender case. The hello Kitty range featured a Squier Strat in Pink or black, and a Badtz Maru Bronco short-scale Bass completed the line-up.

Here a 1980 Yamaha SG-1000 in Tobacco Sunburst finish, Generally we still see quite a few SG-guitars kicking about, but the SG-1000/2000 are becoming harder to get. The brass plated hardware shows some minor signs of use. The SG-1000 has been a great guitar and the weapon of choice of many renowned players.

The SG-1000 is considered a more rocky little brother of the acclaimed Yamaha SG-2000. A solid instrument and quality built with a set neck and ebony fret-board with mother of pearl, split wing position markers. Weight of guitar approx. 4.2 Kgs, neck width at nut approx. 4.4 cm. Lives in hard-case.
