Here we have cool looking and limited issue guitar, an Adamas Millennium guitar made by Ovation for the Millennium. This model here was produced in approximately 75 items . The guitar sports a Cobalt Blue Carbon Graphite Top, Lyra-chord Side and Bowl shaped Back. The fretboard is made of rosewood set onto a multi material neck set onto the guitar body. The neck is an cast alloy of aluminium augmented with wood, therefore unlikely to warp. The fret markers are representations of the Solar System’s planets. The electric piezo pick up is mounted under the the table, under the bridge and works flawlessly. The guitar itself lives in its hardcase.
Ovation Adamas
Here we have a rare guitar, an Adamas guitar made by Ovation, the brainchild of Chris Kaman, originally a helicopter design engineer, who founded Ovation in the 1960s. The guitar here is an Electro-Acoustics Masterclass, Adamas 1681-2, which is the 4th year of production. The guitar sports a Carbon Graphite Top, Lyra-chord Side and Bowl shaped Back. The fretboard is made of rosewood set onto a Mahogany neck set onto the guitar body. This example is the second Adamas series, the details are added inside the bowl. The electric pick up is mounted round the sound hole and works flawlessly.
