Here an unusual guitar from the Gibson stable, a blue Gibson Les Paul (Standard) GT model. Great guitar with a matte, flame graphical top on it. This guitar was made in USA in 2006-2008 as a limited edition. There were 5 finishes, Candy Apple Red, Candy Orange, Daytona Blue, Muscle Green and Phantom Black. This is one of them; it is in good shape although it has seen some light use and has some lacquer finish lifting at the edges. The playability is superb and the guitar, despite its weight, has a nice feel about it. The guitar is built from a solid mahogany body with a maple cap. Nice smooth playing 24.75” neck with a 12.00″ radius. Set up nice and low, it plays like butter with low action and decent neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and tall with no discernible wear. The guitar lives in its black Tolex Gibson hard case.
