Here another example from the excellent 1980/1 Gibson LP Standard Heritage series Gibson Les Paul Guitar with cool looks due to its lightly flamed sunburst finish. Not a screaming loud flame finish but very nice maple top and a killer sound to boot due to the sought after Tim Shaw pickups. Anyway, for those who know the Gibson Les Paul Historic Heritage range, you will have seen some great examples of Gibson’s craftsmanship. However, this one is quality and like the purpose of the Heritage series they are close replica cousins to the 1958/9 Gibson LP series. An R8/9 prehistoric, close to the vintage original, in an early, 1980 reissue.
