Presented here is a 1979 Yamaha SG-1000 in a Tobacco Sunburst finish, in good condition with the serial number 003484. SG-1000 guitars are still found, but pristine 1970s models are increasingly rare. This particular instrument is over 40 years old and maintains good condition, albeit with some minor tarnishing on the brass hardware. The SG-1000 is known for its versatility, and this model features coil taps. It boasts a set mahogany neck and an ebony fretboard adorned with mother of pearl, split-wing inlays. Typical of most Yamaha SGs, it has a substantial weight, approximately 4.2 Kgs, and a neck width at the nut of roughly 4.4 cm.
